But I've checked on some large carriers such as allstate and metlife, and they are not admitted.I thought CIGA was something that an insurance company had to be admitted to in order to be 'respectable', since it covered insurnance policies if the carrier went bankrupt, and that the majority of insurance carriers in california were a partr of it.

I disagree with you, and it is not hard to find out who the owner of the proprieties is no matter where you hide them, and it is not hard to find what insurance policy you have and who the carrier is, so I understand you try to pull a slick one by hiding everything and once you get sued and are you going to run for the hills or appear in court and face the judge and the lawyer, who is handling the case and you will have to be honest with the judge.

Leatherstocking and Northwestern Mutual are what I use.Most traditional carriers will not insure your product for year-round rentals, at least in the State of New York.

I work at a Home Owners carrier presently and I always was so taken back by the lack of information the insureds had in regards a numerous  things.I mean 50% of them have no clue who there agent was!!!!
