I totally agree with everything you said, I would only add that there are 3 associations that regulate the market and offer training for real estate agents: AMPI (Asociación Mexicana de Profesionistas Inmobiliarios) this is the only one that adds you as a member of the NAR GLOBAL TEAM, AMII (Asociación Mexicana de la Industria Inmobiliaria) and CANACO (La Cámara de Comercio, Servicios y Turismo) It's important to note that NOT all active brokers in Quintana Roo have a license so if anyone is investing make sure your agent has one, and its a member in one of this associations.
