Another option is to just send them an amendment to the offer and see if they sign it... they might do that without caring much.

@Wayne Brooks a counter offer is a rejection of a prior offer or agreement. https://dictionary.law.com/Def...If you have a signed agreement and present them with an addendum/amendment, you are not in contract as you have officially rejected the original agreement. 

What I was given looks like someone’s personal copy and is missing the latest amendments.
