My brother is active duty officer in the Navy and we have lot of friends in our town that are always going on deployment, or just moving away after three years, and always living at the whim of the Navy.

I am a full-time IT contractor for the Navy and have been interested in real estate for quite some time.

I'm currently serving in the Navy and I separate December 2016 at which time I will be moving to Buffalo to finish my undergrad degree.

My father was a real estate broker after retiring from the navy but it never really interested me in my young adulthood.

The location is awesome though for the Navy and Air Force presence that is 5 min away (NRL, Bolling AFB) and of course the MGM Casino + National Harbor. 

For my efforts, I graduated into the last big RE bubble burst, and at that time opted out of the lousy economy and joined the Navy.

I have 11 years of military experience (Go Navy) followed by three years of jointly operating a small business in the metro Detroit area.
