The WSJ article interviewed one property owner,  and he is unloading his properties and moving his investments to Vegas.  

Sounds like the investor had plans to do that and ran into the same issue and wants to unload this problem on someone else.

Located on hwy 97 south of Bend.The only jobs are at a lumber mill which has been hurt by the recession, so prices are down.

ALL lumber needs to get hauled to building material landfill which is about 1/2 price of garbage Cheapest way is back up a dump trailer carefully so tires dont hit nails,,,hammer and wreck bar and tear out piece by piece, tarp,haul to build landfill,,,rinse and repeat. 

He is a wholesaler from Austin who is now just trying to unload four SFHs in Killeen.

They live in the Wichita Falls, and I know he's looking to unload a few properties.

Ok...need some help with this one...Wholesaler came to me for help trying to unload a short sale he has under contract.

I have a seller that wants to unload a few properties.

Go to your local large lumber yard or large supplier and ask the service manager to make recommendations for the type of contractor you need.

Perhaps you will find out that the owner has other properties that they are looking to unload.
