He is not an investor but he made REI works for him & his life style.There are many successful investors here in BP, and can be overwhelming, just take one step at a time, maybe you just need to make some life style adjustment to make REI works.

Sales of similar home style that are not 100% updated sell $170-180k range (floors are very mixed---lots of carpet, laminate, engineered hardwood in one, tile), completed updated selling mid-180k range (generally hardwood floor).  

If your goal to to set up a production style operation where you do multiple properties you will want to hire a good GC as it will cost you more in lost revenue than the money you save by not paying a GC.  

I can read blog posts by news reporters on some aspect of RE and can tell they don't have a clue, at least they are just telling a story but with a style to influence others.....usually for public consumption.Same with RE investors, mentors, coaches as they get into more technical aspects, the blogs are skewed with opinion presented as factual.

I have seen in a older project that units with a old style tv would rent for less than one with flat panel tv.

@William SavageI have done a few pre fab modular trailers for a client approx. 14ft x 70ft double wide style.  

I do not have schooling or a career that pays good I'm stuck making $9-$12 / hour jobs & im sick of living this up and down life style, when i finally get my cars paid off and getting ahead i get knocked down and have to sell them to make it then i lose everything i worked for.
