They will check your passport before boarding the plane.

If this is the case we have been doing this for many years in the UK Back in 83 when I first started buying property in Spain I never saw the property but I did meet the UK client and send them out by plane to look at the property and they were shown around by the Spanish agent.

My wife and I frequently hop on a plane last minute and use any gaps. 

Go and buy a new plane and stop complaining :-)

My pilots license is good but I need a biannual for my "IFR " rating and am working on that currently. although my plane's MFD ( multi function display went TU) and that's 20k to replace..

Well, sometimes hopping on a plane is just as easy as driving 4-5 hours if they live in a very high COL location.

Only get into a deal like this if you're able to 1) go to the area and meet everyone involved in person, 2) research the area on your own so you really know what houses cost and what rents are (hint: prices and rents where you live in Miami are completly irrelevant), and 3) are willing to get on a plane and go deal with an issue if need be.

OKIf someone offered you a 0.1% chance your flight would make it safe... in other words, if someone gave you a 99.9% probability your plae would crash and burn mid air, would you board that plane?
