@Evan Ventura,People here on BP have also successfully used the cheap IKEA countertops (around $75-99 for a piece). at that price they where treated as expendables (one per tenant), and some even reported getting the install time with demo at 2-4 hours.for the other, you need to "waterproof" the common points of water entry:-caulk between the wall and countertop-use varnish on points contacting sink-use good glue near the oven/range since the usual pressure-activated glue does not fare well with heat

We can lay down carpet with 2 guys, 120 square yards minimum a day, demo and install.

So several developers are approaching my uncle and want to buy his property, completely demo it and build a duplex on the lot.

Now if the contamination is too great or so much time has pass that it "soaked" into the drywall/plaster then demo might be the easiest way to address it for those surfaces.

Do all demo work yourself.

It may be worth a call to a rep who can give you a tutorial and demo.  

I have a three family in Secaucus, N.J. and after 17 years my tenant moved out and now I need to replace the kitchen which was partially demo and the bathroom which was also partially demo .

Another added cost to demo and dispose.

Got the termite treatment done with some help, carpets removed, bathroom demoed, measured for windows and doors, working on putting a complete bid package together for Home Depot (If you spend more than $1500, you can request them to give you a bid price which is usually a bit cheaper). 

What impressed me about this product besides being waterproof is that I was told no underlay is needed AND no demo of old tile is necessary.
