BP,We (father and son venture) are looking to put together a fund for investors… family and friends to begin… this is not a pitch I promise.

I understand the situation as my wife has 2 sons and some of her assets will go to them.

But as 10 year Marine Corp veteran with 2 of my sons in as well, along with my younger brother in the Secret Service, we take great pride in our character. 

Question: We have two CALIF. condos (PGA West La Quinta & Lake Arrowhead), each earning $30K ann. as STR’s, w/3% loans, our son pays for one condo.

My son recently talked to me about being a sponsor on a sophisticated value add.  

The other popular open floor plan was American Standard  I grew up in Cupertino and Palo Alto LOTS of Eichlers.. had many friends lived in them.

So I told them to pay their rent on time.Then they went ahead and said the previous travel nurse didn’t pick up the dog **** and that their son had to go to the hospital because he fell in it and got a staph infection.

Including myself as I'm about to foreclose on someone who used to work for me and I viewed like a surrogate son to me.

My son is going to FSU, my wife will be making frequent visits there because he is her baby ;-). 

So if I lost mine or my mothers then I would not only be a bad son but never want to take outside capital.
