Kavi,If you decide to have a service plow and shovel I would suggest that you use a contract.

As far as taxes, coming from NYS, mine here in FL are a bargain.  

Are the tenants going to cut grass / shovel snow, or will you need to hire someone?

In addition to spending tourist dollars, I pay folks to mow lawns, clean yards, clean up the houses on turnover, shovel snow off sidewalks, paint, replace flooring, etc.  

But if you have the money, time, and patience for it, you will make more money getting the land developed or close to shovel ready at least.

You don't need those done in the winter and this way they get paid if they do it and if they don't then you can get it done.Yes, but depending on where you are in the country, you do need the leaves raked in the autumn, and the steps and walks shoveled, salt to be spread in the winter.

The more units under one roof, the more efficient the cost of salting is, as you will pay the same cost for the sidewalks whether 3 people walk on it or 30 people.I am not debating whether or not to plow or shovel the snow, only the salting component.

If I don't shovel snow, there's a slip and fall, I can't say "too bad, so sad, you're out of luck, my house is in an LLC".

Barring other laws (such as EO21-81 in FL which states that businesses in FL are not allowed to force people to provide documentation of vaccination), your employer or your landlord can in fact ask you whether or not you are vaccinated. 

Bury the problem, and then bury the shovel.
