It isn't at all crazy to suggest that your hourly wage might be on par with the computer scientist UC Berkeley software engineer client of yours, except of course that you aren't a zillion dollars in student loan debt. 

And I'm telling you, the learning curve I'm still in the middle of is like nothing I've ever experienced--and I've worked as a rocket scientist before, and a pilot, and neither of those made me drink from the fire hose like I am right now landlording this property.
