i really just want to know all about it to see if this is possibly strategy that i would want to use, ecspecially with banks tightening up how much and who they lend and just making it even more miserable.

That way if everything goes to hell, I know I won't be moving back in with the parents.Maybe it's just my area (Midwest) but I find it hilarious that the prospect of accumulating half a million dollars of real estate in cash is actually easier than going through the ridiculous process of crafting resumes and cover letters, submitting applications online which aren't even read by humans and are usually immediately denied, going through weeks of interviews, and maybe getting another miserable job.

As far as you know the ex-wife is in the business of making this guy miserable, not something you want to be a part of unless the dollars make sense.

We tend to be afraid of taking risks and that is exactly why people continue to be miserable at their jobs barely scrapping by because they refuse to think and act differently.

I failed miserably. 

Investor committees are put together lawyers come in .. they oust the GP... now you have a lawyer and investors trying to run the asset they fail miserably because the lawyer is milking the deal.. then they just all cry  foul and start getting the DA involved 500 complaints to DA they have to do something they charge the 2  not just one but 2 owners of the company with criminal... one guy got 6 years in Folsom the other 9 in San question..

HOA manager here... if there truly is nothing in the covenants or other documents allowing them access then you have a case for making their lives miserable if they enter your premises without permission.

However, I've spoken to several investors who have 5-10 properties in town and when they have a couple of vacancies... they are miserable.

Who wants to move when it is snowing, raining, and just downright miserable. 

Job makes me miserable during the week and missing holidays with my family for this is not worth it.
