Most successful investors I follow seem to promote a refinance event every five or so years to harvest the equity and build their portfolio.

It went from pink to a crisp white and was beautiful.Though some will say that you can do it yourself, I don’t recommend it.  

I now fund my retirement and expect to continue investing and harvesting a few deals each year.

It’s very interesting and something I’d love to do more of for fun and profit.U have it correct  really depends on what the use of the land is going to be.. if its just log replant and wait for the next harvest you typically cut stumps as low as possible unless there is bad sweep or other defects down low although you can buck those out before being loaded and going to the mill..
