That's literally hours devoted to removing all the plates, scrubbing all the plates, listing the plates that are needed and buying new ones next time I'm at the hardware store, and then replacing all the plates (with outlet gaskets on outer walls). 

My goal is FIRE to travel, spend time with those I love, and devote time to causes like climate change which I deeply care about. 

If so, you may want to get a property manager so that you can focus on scaling rather than managing.Also, how much time do you want to devote to your rentals after acquisition?

., how far away you are, how much time you have to devote to the property, managing service calls, going there if necessary, ability to do your own work, etc.So that's something you'll really need to decide for yourself - though I would say as a new person, you should expect that you'll be there a bit more than you "imagine" you will be (at least that was my experience when I was new 15+ yrs ago).If you do decide to hire it out, I can recommend a couple of local companies.
