I’m doing STR on these 4 units since august and the returns are going well.

Do you know where a good place would be to find a partnership for an STR on BP? 

But be advised banks want STR on tax returns because there is no lease.

Fort Worth stand alone STR only in commercial areas. 

It helped to learn the skills I needed to then apply those skills/experiences to do STR in my properties I own thousands of miles away.So I have 3 rental arbitrages and 3 owned homes.If I had a choice, I would ONLY do STR on homes I own.   

Each of these must be weighed against the potential rent to determine if the property is worth investing in.A short term rental (STR), on the other hand, has all of these and more. 

Not sure if that is too thin @Marylin OShea, @Joe Norman, but I can't imagine getting comfortable with it by the Sunday offer deadline.I think we do need to accrue a little more cash, and starting STR on our home soon will help.

Here are the reasons why I would suggest that over other options in your case:1) I agree with some of the advice above that finding a warrantable condo that also allows STR on the Panhandle will be really difficult if not impossible.

for a clean, well-located, well-appointed rental.After renting my STR on a 3-night minimum basis this past January-May, I calculated how much time, energy and expense went in to turning the house over every 3-7 days and decided that next season I am switching to monthly for December through March, possibly through April, although snow birds often leave by then.

My STR ONLY works because I have the absolute best care takers for it.
