One  summer we spent a good bit of time up on the Chesapeake but we usually travel in the winter and end up spending a good bit of time in Cocoa, Fl (just north of Vero Beach) because I grew up there and still have family there.

The disposition of SFH's in markets that fail to turn is one of the most overlooked and grueling aspects of this strategy.   10 Years ago when I first began investing I grew a 30+ SFH portfolio in a neighborhood in Northwest Philadelphia and it pains me to say I fell into category 2.

This is a big part of the problem "AMH, formerly American Homes 4 Rent, grew its portfolio of single-family homes by 8.5% between 2019 and 2021, but its fee revenue grew by two-thirds during this time period, according to the group's securities filings.

I moved here myself from Portland OR because of the macroeconomics and overall potential of the market and grew my rental portfolio to over 7 figures.

I actually grew up in Kuttawa, KY and went to high school in Eddyville (class of '93). 

While I grew up in Michigan, my hometown was 4 hours north.

Hi Trinity, I've found that callers from Mexico and Latin America work best since they have excellent English (they grew up in the US as kids) and have the best sales/hustle skills for cold calling.
