My bet is on Boston (MIT, Harvard, Others), Philly or NJ, in that order.

It's my favorite day of the year for real estate data geekiness - the day that Harvard's Joint Center for Housing Studies releases its annual "State of the Nation's Housing" report!

I do think that this is not hard to learn on your own though and a college degree is not needed.At the end of the day there are successful RE investors that graduated with a 4.0 from Harvard and there are successful investors that didn't graduate high school. 

Just today I picked up a 5 br, in Lee Harvard, My all in price will be 70k, value 100k or so Rent will be 1500, so about 12k NET on 70k.
