@Lynn Currie  I am curious as to marketing to people looking for VR properties, because I've been told by several people that do VR's that the house in San Clemente would probably rent for around $6000 per week.

I found a very interesting deal in San Clemente that someone with your builder/investor background would be perfect.

While we were in Orange County we lived in Newport Beach, Irvine and Lake Forest, and built spec houses in Lake Forest, Dana Point (Capistrano Beach) and in San Clemente.

I started in Costa Mesa and since then we've spread slowly outward to Huntington Beach, Dana Point, San Clemente, Santa Ana, Orange, Tustin, Irvine, Anaheim, Fullerton, Long Beach and most recently Norwalk.

I use Graham Clements at Koonce Wooten and Haywood in Raleigh. 

The house we are completing in San Clemente, though listed at $1,899,000, was designed with the thought that someone might want to purchase it for a luxury vacation rental, so we made sure rooms were spacious enough for bunks, plus added two separate loft spaces that would hold wall beds or sofa beds, in addition to adding additional view deck in the common area.

NA Martin We are building a house right now in San Clemente, CA and just finished the dirt work (excavation) of which compaction was a part of that.

On the houses we are building in both San Clemente, and in Capistrano Beach, in looking at cooktops I'm torn between Induction cooktop and Gas.
