I mentioned English classes only because of an El Salvadoran family we have in one of our units who have been here for years but haven't had the opportunity to learn ANY English because they work all the time and they work with only fellow Spanish speakers.

I was listening to a webinar about overages that areunclaimed in tax sale foreclosures, nearly 95% according to the speaker,Bob Diamond, there are 3,000 of these done every day, JP Morgan says $13,700,000worth of unclaimed money. 

They also hold events throughout the year with expert speakers.

Not to sound like a motivational speaker (I'm not) but subsequently much of what they say, we as successful RE investors put to practice.  

Normally there is a guest speaker  but this is sort of a Christmas party/networking thing. 

Some years ago I was a speaker at my state's code enforcement association annual conference.

It's understandable though, there are more professional seminar speakers who have pretty marketing & packaging & are really good B.S. artists selling the dream without delivering anything useful.Another negative side effect of this is the notion that someone should provide information & mentoring for free or close to it.
