For my personal tastes the "used home" market is frothy and the cashflow that I like isn't there when you account for the Repairs and Maintenance costs associated with the age of homes.When looking at New Construction though, I get a little more optimistic. 

After all, every investor's taste is a tad different.

It will depend on how good the property you are trying to get a loan on is, however this just seems too risky for my taste, but don't let me rain on your parade.

They could still be fine tenants but it is likely their taste is different then yours.

It put a very sour taste in my mouth.

That would of taken my entire gross for two years and left a bad taste to say the least.

Hi @Aaron Crow-First of all, to use any postcard to mention buying a house from the family of someone that has died is in poor taste.  

I started just by listening to podcasts during my commutes to and from work, and the BP podcasts especially are pretty diverse in that you get a taste of several different strategies just by listening to the interviews.

Just too many "hopes" for my taste.
