I will look into your keyword suggestion and have already read the The Ultimate Beginner's Guide.From my novice's perspective, the best path forward for me seems to be saving up for a down payment on conventional financing of a property that proves to have (after careful analysis) good return potential as a rental property (without requiring too much rehab as I understand that to be harder to finance conventionally).

Rebooting thread:I tried to get foreclosed once, as a complete novice and ended up learning a little (but mostly a waste of time).Delaware County, PA (so hello to the other Delco folks here (aka Steve Babiak) We were already somewhat familiar w/the house we wanted to buy (ok buying it as is w/o inspections etc etc).
