On a couple of occasions, both came back (no extra charge because it was detailed in the bid/contract what they would do and if they didn't do it then they had to make it right) because of minor issues, but they were responsive and yes I'd use them again. On the upside,@Matthew Paul,at least this will work to my favor: everything you need to know is there about the contracts and payment schedule ( Md is 1/3 down 1/3 at the start of the job and final 1/3 upon completion) . :)I believe all of this worked out because I used the GC for my primary residence so I had a former working knowledge and idea of their work ethic and the fact that I was here for the job. This property in MD is too distanced for me to get organized like I would like to be had it been here where I can do better diligence like actually going to contractors office or meeting with them.I do appreciate everyone's candor, suggestions, and advise and I thank you for your time in reading my posts.
