Today, Toronto city council introduced new rules for short term rentals, including:- The short-term rental must be your principal residence - Homeowners won’t be allowed to list secondary suites, such as a basement apartment, for short-term rental.- Entire home rentals will be capped at 180 days a year (no caps on renting up to 3 rooms in your principal residence) I am wondering how short-term rental hosts have adapted to similar rules and how my fellow Toronto hosts plan on adjusting to the rules.

Property tax in Portland jumped with all the levy’s and assessments that hit this year (and I don’t think that’ll stop in the future) while the city council wants to blame the homeless situation and housing crunch on landlords and have us be the only ones to foot the bill.

Think about your own fears and see if addressing the above helps.I've read a book by the name of 'Than Merrill's wholesaling bible' it supposedly has every step to take in order to get started in wholesaling. the book actually covers deal evaluation and local markets. it mentioned that i should go to city council meetings to learn about zoning laws which is a challenge to understand.
