I'm not a prepper in any sense of the word other than having batteries and cans of propane for the camp stove for the occasional power outtage due to a storm.But, I am putting my money where my mouth is and very much looking forward to late 2015 and early 2106 here in the US.

But I know he didn't pay December's rent to the old owner until the 23rd, and I know from the power company that as of the 15th of this month he was about to get his power shut off for non-payment (not sure if it did or not).He has yet to pay me for January ($630 + $100 late fee) and it's fast approaching the end of the month.

It may have been easier because we were military at the time, but there are some civilian services as well that may help you if the consulate or embassy are too far.If you have a trusted business partner and can wire the money ahead you may also be able to establish a limited power of attorney for the deal that is restricted to terms you have already agreed on, and only for that deal.

I will let you know the probate list is a little tricky because you need to find the person in charge of the estate or the power of attorney. sometimes if you market to the house of the deceased the decision maker wont get it.
