They are accredited, which is a very important measure, thank you for mentioning. logos and statements were on all four sites I mentioned.

As an accredited investor, I echo @Jay Hinrichs in that I do not see or predict another meltdown like 08, but as noted by great books like Fooled By Randomness and The Most Important Thing, we tend not to see the black swan that creates sudden downturns.

I wouldn’t because if I make 500k or 200k a year I’m an accredited investor which means I can do a similar deal to a syndicator and earn the same return and not use my credit.Also entirely passive and my risk is lower since I now own a percentage of hundred of units instead of a single family rental or duplex etc

Some only accept accredited investors some also accept non-accredited but sophisticated investors for their deals.
