My REALTOR just drove by the property today and noticed newspapers over all the windows where nice plantation shutters were before.Looks like they are taking things apart and possibly taking things with them to their new home.

Cheryl,Your profile doesn't say what city you are in, but in every major city you will find a financial newspaper where notice of foreclosures are printed.

Of course there's always craigslist, bandit signs, newspapers, etc that you could use too.

You can find them at the courthouse, newspaper, by sending mail etc.

So for me, paying a couple hundred dollars to be able to put a sign in the yard, flyers, newspaper ads, TV ads, craigslist, facebook, Zillow, Trulia, MLS..

I haven't personally tried the newspaper but the only ones who would think to list a house in it are probably old enough to have paid the loan down.

@James Edwards Check in the newspapers to see if anyone is advertising "we buy houses" give them a call and see what happens.
