Subject property is distressed and gutted 2/1 in an up-n-coming historic area with small restored bungalows with high-end, tasteful finishes.

They are all coming back saying that my town is too "rural" for their taste even though the deal makes sense.

I can imagine most cities outside of Vancouver are experiencing a taste of the craziness.

I just wouldn’t necessarily look at it as an investment if your taste for a primary residence is in that price range when you’re putting $0 down.

Not sure if this is common, but CPA's would do well to cater to the new generations tastes. 

@Dustin Davis I think the growth explosion is the same in almost every town that I am considering living in or near and people paying over market values seems to be way too common for my tastes, unless of course I'm the one selling.
