I am not an attorney, but I wonder if what you describe could be interpreted as "stalking" (taking pictures and video of you constantly, etc.) and would therefore enable you to file for a restraining order against them?

Not a value judgement as I am sure many on the right have good reasons why they do this with pollsters, just reality.Thus, one can interpret Redfin's poll results as likely skewing more to the left than the actual home-buying public does.

. $640 ; rather than $500, and it may happen like that because both the appraisar and buyer thinks the same.... look like this house is $650 so I should be able to get it too, without merits of being flipped.It's recently happened in area where I am buying and selling too.So yes interpreting the comp sometmes becomes an art by itself rather than like a straightforward technical explanation.

Your gain is determined by the difference between your net sale ($310K) and your adjusted cost basis (purchase price minus depreciation plus capitalized improvements).And accessing debt right before a sale and 1031 as @Wayne Brooks said can result in the IRS interpreting that you were accessing profit ahead of the sale.
