City Counsel refuses to make being caught w an illegal gun a felony, you cant even pay bills because of the ransomware attack, and the city refuses to shut off water, and you cant kick a tenant out in rent court for refusal to pay water even if its in your lease.

@Alex NatansonYes, but you are going to have to prove bona fide residence -- that the spouses are actually living apart in separate homes and that this is not merely a scheme for tax purposes.Even then, the treasury regs leave room for the Service to attack you from other angles.

I'm going to take a guess and say that if you refinanced, you'd pay the same amount of interest and fees in the next 12 months as you would if you attacked the credit card debt, maybe even more.
