I would like to start off by saying how much I absolutely love this community just from everything I have witnessed over the last few weeks of scouring the forums.

But he is really at his wits end with his W2 so I want to support him leaving as soon as possible.

Then I would grab his report, and give that to a really busy, never-have-time-for-you contractor and give him a bit of cash and tell him, I will give you pictures of my girlfriend if you manage to find something wrong wit the house (then show him a picture of  the latest adult star and tell him that is your gf!).

Okay Mike, tell us what potential problems You can see wit this.

The town around that base is growing in leaps and bounds because it can hardly keep up wit the rental demand.

I have witnessed large deals (but not that large!)

Have you seen witnessed a successful BRRRR in the area?

Is anyone doing this, renting by the room, and having success w it in the Austin area?

To expound a little on his point #2 - I have witnessed retirement age people buying here in the Orlando area. 

I would have said "no chance it would happen here" either until I witnessed it today.
