I am living in Orange County, Southern California and I am interested in local properties, particularly in Riverside and San Bernardino counties as the propertie prices are not too high.

Hi BP Community,My partner and I have recently acquired a 6-unit apartment complex in the downtown San Jose area, with a Willow Glen area code (95125).

He is currently spec building 6 homes in the Riverside area and doesn't see any impending major crash like 2008.Markets are cyclical and I think we are due for a general recession and a housing market turn from a seller's market, to a buyer's market.

@Anthony Dooley  for the greater fool theory  watch Glenn Garry Glen Ross the movie.the land game was a huge one in FLA and still is.. just like it was huge out here in the West.been going on for 100 plus years.also you see a few of the guys that teach this stuff.. guru's who sell how to books.. like land geek and others .. its and old old strategy  but it works for those that can stick it out..

Is anyone out there in the Brookfield, Riverside, Lyons, La Grange area familiar with how property taxes work in this area and how I can better account for them in my analysis?

Specifically the North Shore, Glen Cove area. 

Locations I am talking about are like Columbia, Silver spring, Bowie, Laurel, Hanover, Glen Burnie, Towson, Glen Burnie, Crofton, Odenton, Rockville, Gaithersburg, Germantown, Severn, Savage, or Severna Park in Maryland.

Downtown Ithaca is experiencing a TON of competition, but the areas around both Ithaca and Watkins Glen particularly are much more accessible, and increasingly desirable.
