You’d have an area made up 100% of identical properties, in identical shape, the identical distance from good and bad things, etc etc etc. 

You would be way better of selling and buying the identical house as a rental.

Commercial is very localized where one thing here may be completely different from the identical thing a mile away.

It's one of the great things about our economic system....we can do business with who we want, or not do business with who we do not like, as long as its not based on race, sex, religion, ethnicity, gender identity, etc.

Don't be afraid to ask the guest to verify their identity with Airbnb if they haven't already.

not sure if it'll get you anywhere (or if you are looking to get somewhere with this particular individual / tenant or just move on) but a police report is more than warranted. beyond that you may or may not have civil damages that your attorney would need to get on top of. and if really really wanted to push the envelope i might even call the insurance company and claim identity theft / fraud (some property policies come with those built in, but that is a separate subject)

There are plenty of securities attorneys, I'd say interview them all in an identical format.

I am full time in real estate, so my tax treatment of an identical item with someone who has full time employment in other field is totally different.  

If you're using an llc use that instead of your name for payment from tenants and have a business bank account under the llc business name if you don't want your name identity known to tenants.
