not sure if it'll get you anywhere (or if you are looking to get somewhere with this particular individual / tenant or just move on) but a police report is more than warranted. beyond that you may or may not have civil damages that your attorney would need to get on top of. and if really really wanted to push the envelope i might even call the insurance company and claim identity theft / fraud (some property policies come with those built in, but that is a separate subject)

If you're using an llc use that instead of your name for payment from tenants and have a business bank account under the llc business name if you don't want your name identity known to tenants.
