I currently live in the Silicon Valley and have $70000 saved up, and when I realized that I could buy a property for ~$200,000 in Florida, I realized that if I househack the right property, I could quit my day job (I'm unsure if I actually want to quit my job, but having the option is great!).

Example: with stay at home work becoming very much more mainstream due to COVID, will tech companies need to lease or build expensive commercial headquarters in Silicone Valley, or will people be able to work remotely from a cheaper real estate market, thereby flattening SF RE prices?
