The problem in school is the poor way they teach basic math, Algebra, and Geometry. 

The deeding is actually secondary.  

I do my fair share of $300k-$700k sales here in Los Angeles don't get me wrong, but my easy math brain loves using the even numbers for examples!

So you can do the math.

On the lender ask them for a non binding term sheet so you can see their math ahead of time.

Hopefully you have a great relationship with your lender, if the math works out that you really should do a refinance, at least do it with the same lender so they are Net even once they are hit with the EPO. 

It’s hard to make the math work and cash flow in this current STR market.  

I did the math and I can get the same rehab loan amount from a HML but I will pay slightly more every month.

Not sure how many doors you have, but when you get to your 5th broken ice maker you realize the math just doesn’t make sense.
