I think that the main recreation season is only about 6 months so I would like to figure 50% occupancy to be safe which means $30000 per month on average for STR .

The house is on the outer street with woods across the street, and a recreation center on the other side of the woods.The man has set up shop at the edge of the woods a few houses up the street.I’m sure this is a huge deterrent for most when buying a house; it would give me pause as well.What should I do?

Hello Bigger Pockets Community,I have a unique situation on my hands wherein my family is looking to purchase a cabin for our family to use recreationally but also to utilize the property as an AIRBNB for a significant portion of the year (Rented Less than 50% of the year as the 2nd Home mortgage dictates).The only issue is that the property is 39 miles from my primary residence (< the required 50 miles for a 2nd Home mortgage).
