Prior to having to go on this program, due to having had a newborn baby boy, Whom had to have multiple surgeries within the first few weeks of his life, I was a *Typical Renter* and had never even heard of the Program before, in fact the Hospital staff introduced me to the program, as I had basically lost everything from having to stay in Baltimore at the Ronald McDonald house to be close to my son for a rather extended period of time...

I obviously will do my due dillegence in having one as a contingency in my offer if I make one but is it safe to say that if a home qualifies for the "mortgage" portion of the homepath program as a general rule that all major functions are in tact?

One thing that I liked about that program, as opposed to others I have listened to, is that they emphasized the possibilities of setting up wholesale terms, vs just wholesale prices.

Since S8 is administered by the local municipality, and good and bad housing authorities do exist, your experience may vary, but I found they tend to want to boot bad tenants, cause they have a long list of applicants, and bad tenants give the program a bad reputation.As with any tenant, your screening process is the most important thing.
