Try to think about where you might be in 3-5 years when rents are a bit higher and your properties have appreciated.If you can't see this vision, then sell.

With that said, it’s important for you to first establish a vision of the guest profile that you are trying to attract to your property before you dive in any deeper.

Dealing with problematic tenants, constant maintenance issues, and the pressure from family and friends who don't seem to understand your vision can make it all feel like an uphill battle.

I would caution against getting a partner, there are some real downsides no matter who it is, I’ve been through it with great people and it can be difficult to manage two visions.

And what's the long term vision: Is this 1 house or you plan on building out a portfolio?

My vision was this summer to rehab the home as a primary residence but now needing some creative ideas of what to do once we do a tear down.
