What Degree? RED or Construction Management?

Peace Abraham
Posted

Hello, i need some guidance. I am going into Architecture this coming fall and lately have been thinking of getting a minor in either RED or construction management. My reasoning is because i realized that i want to do something, alongside my design degree, that involves building complexes (mostly commercial buildings) but im not sure with degree would be the best to do this. I still want to design but Id also like to develop at some point or do both eventually. My vision is to not be stuck behind the desks for the majority of my career. I’ve always be interested in real estate.

I want to know if minoring in either of these degrees would even work for me or if it’ll be more productive to go into construction management since I’ve heard a lot of RED start in that route.

Any advice is appreciated
