I'm sure while you are all enjoying drinks and snacks we'll be pulling hair and yelling at each other on our last night of packing.

(We'd already cut out all chips, snack food and processed convenience foods long ago.)

Better they snack themselves to sleep, than tear up your property from being drunk.

However; when we had a subdivision, I had a table in the kitchen, kept cookies, fruit, crackers, and other snacks stocked up, with paper and crayons or other toys around.

Hand towels, paper towels, toilet paper, a couple snacks, a toy for the dog etc.

We will move the counter and cabinets back against that wall to create much more space and maybe a nice snack bar.Hubby and I are now very excited, as we just got back from a walk in our neighborhood to see about a HUD house around the corner that has just started having work done to it.

I used to teach at an Army training course and I'd see recruits spend $10-20 on snacks at the 'gut truck' each day, for instance.

Each attendee pays $10 to defray the cost of the room and the snacks that are provided. 

I should "sometimes" supply ice, a welcome basket with mini snacks and water, and a notebook to leave comments.
