I use a 2" gel memory foam topper on top, then the Sealy padded cover over it all.

Amazon says the firmness is "Medium" which is the same stated firmness as the Zinus Cooling Gel, yet at half the price I might have to jump on it.

In addition I carry a pepper spray gel.
