Just a simple statement such as "I hereby forever release my redemption rights to the following property: (with legal description and street address and tax parcel ID number) and then they sign and have their signature notarized.

But legal description contained phrase "one half of lot [x]..." which is a dead give away that this is not a legal lot under the Subdivision Map Act.

I ask this because upon looking around Zillow I found a "residential-single family" home that has 12 bedrooms and the description claims that all 12 rooms rent out and that it's already being filled for the upcoming college year.
