Looking for experience with these guys or other suggestions to look into.Quick Bio:I live in Iowa and currently have an LLC with rental properties, farm, sell insurance, and have a w-2 job so I just feel as if I'm in need of some good tax planning but also a CPA that has had experience with farmers.

These are usually small things, like a slow leaky toilet, some loose handles in the kitchen, maybe the shower diverter isn't working well (we have very hard water here so its common).While this is rather/sort of embarrassing, I THINK bBy getting them fixed quickly it actually shows that I a landlord that intends to maintain my properties and provide at least a decent place for my tenants to live.To save a bit of money, I change out the locksets on the door myself.

So, if you pay CA tax, IA will give you a credit based on the amount paid to CA.

Im currently airbnbing my home in Denver, the tenant that is staying here is originally from Iowa... he bought a home for 200k ish and mentioned the ARV is around 900k.

I a perfect world yes but in reality and in a judges eyes... if someone is on lets say a 5 year lease and they want to leave in month 2.... there is nothing you can do to stop them nor can you go after the 5 year payout, the most you can do is keep their security deposit but even so... that is not a given.

I want to be where you are soon, the difference is I am in a more rural market in Iowa and I do all the value add myself, but I got property management from day 1 because I to want it to be a business.
