I am about to start an internship at Northwestern Mutual, and might quit my current job.

While in college, my initiative is to get involved with many business activities, including internships relevant to the real estate business, to build my value, credibility, and experience.

Luke emailed me this:"In the last 7 months I have managed to gain an internship at a small Real Estate Development/Student Housing Company in my college town.

Also, look into different internships and potentially getting your RE license to be ahead of the game.

On BP forums, meetups, REIAs, coffees, find your local experienced operators/NOT paid gurus and see if you can help them find deals, drive for dollars, analyze deals, line up contractors - it’s your unpaid internship to soak up as much experience as you can handle - - best of luck!!

Hey Cameron,I actually stayed at Indiana University for an internship in conjunction with the Indianapolis Zoo. 

However, before I do that, I was wondering if anyone has heard of a shadow program or internship where a seasoned veteran is willing to show you the steps they take as they go through a live deal.

Side story: In college I did a sales internship with University Directories out of Chapel Hill NC.

I am a recent college graduate that has real estate experience from a college internship and now I work for Drees Homes.
