I am apprehensive because I personally don’t have great credit at the moment, and have zero personal capital (I’m open abt the state of my personal finances in my bio), so everything would be leveraged with OP$ and it would be mostly a learning experience.

Note the law was in effect nothing because a jurisdiction could have allowed this prior to the new law and must op In with the new law.

where I would tend to agree with the OP is I have seen folks use their IRA and not understand the actual costs of ownership and end up in a tough spot when they don't have enough reserves in the IRA  ( example they have 50k and spend 45k of the cash thinking 5k is enough reserves.) ..

The sale would resume in 30 days or so but it would stall it for sure.I believe if the OP files a request for a TRO the Trustee will be named as the Defendant and will need to retain an attorney to respond.

@Jay Hinrichs, indeed our buyers get the co-op commission and it's totally legal in most states, including Illinois where we operate.
