I'm facing a similar decision with my NW side duplex and debating whether its worth it to duplex up into the unfinished attic and if so what the steps/costs would be. 

.        *** I would love to hear your comments on a debate in favor of the snowball.**** At some point, future, I think I will want most all properties paid off so I can have great flow with minimal stress and maintenance numbers but kinda feel growth phase is still smartest as of now. 

Anyways this article was not intended to be a debate on Subto, I was talking about buying properties now that cashflow that maybe I overpaid for, that's it.
