I now have a beautiful wife and daughter here in Asia.

While I live in the US at the moment, both my spouse and daughter hold UK passports and I like the idea of having some type of 'presence' in somewhere other than the US.

Last October I moved from my former home and am now renting it out (to my daughter and her boyfriend).  

This month I'll partner with my daughter on a Subject To deal in the SL Valley.I've looked a several seller-financed properties both SF and small MF but the sellers are unrealistic about pricing and I have no interest in a negative carry. 

I recently had my eight year old daughter start painting.

We ended up buying the house through the more traditional method of an owner occupied loan that is a JV with my daughter. 

The next person to come view the house was going to buy it for his 30 year old daughter to run as a bed and breakfast and he knew she would absolutely love it when he first walked through the door and made an offer that same day.

Was thinking about Reno/Tahoe area too actually,- my daughter goes to UNR,- and Reno - Tahoe proximity cannot beat - especially value of properties in Tahoe area on both size of the state border compare to Reno,-)…
