In the summer, tourism is huge as it's a Cruise Ship Port and in winter the legislature comes to Juneau for session.

Did you know that the murder rate in Cancun is lower than that in NYC or LA and that the murder rate for visitors is extremely low (hence the tourism has been growing by leaps and bounds over there).

The appreciation was nice, but I still see it as a boom and bust, tourism driven town.

All high tourism areas, but I've visited and stayed in ones off the beaten path like yours and loved it.

Intel has there largest employee base here so they CANT leave  tourism and AG and you know how switched on those AG folks are.. then you have the PDX  inner city folks  Keep Portland weird just watch Portlandia it is not far from the truth and actually I would say is a pretty good representation of many of our esteemed residences..

Nobody knows, but I suspect this could be the perfect time to get in.I plan to do short term rental to the tourism market.

Single-family homes are very competitive and generally over priced in my market due to the high amount of cash buyers, tourism, and foreign investors.

Hospitality and tourism is my background which has given me great people skills to work with in real estate.  

It is coastal and it has tourism.  

I worry about the probability of lease options there because of high tourism.
