Greed is a powerful thing.

I don't want to seem greedy but I want what is fair and as we are new in the industry I don't know what is standard.

Had he not been so greedy i.e. written 1-1.5% I may have been annoyed but gone with it.

I am with you after watching American greed I don't know how any of us raise investor capital..

But I think you need to know the skill/trade really well first. 

Also be aware that if you are in atty review, they can toss you out of the contract as well, so just be careful if this is a good deal to not get too greedy.
