Those like us operating this way, just just gave us back the keys to the kingdom. 

Anyhow, its their belief that hosts are exacerbating the housing problem and theyre doing God’s work as good little apparats for the city by taking us out, one by one

Oh god, I can only imagine the horror involved with managing a Section 8 tenant in a landlord hating state like California.

Usually I wait, and every few months I sacrifice a weekend day to the bookkeeping gods.

I can't wait to start making that happen with God's help through real estate.  

You can:Go to other markets, or;Find motivated sellers or;Adjust your financial criteria to reflect market forces (either directly or through using some value-add approach after purchase), or;Hold off expansion of your empire until the Gods (market forces) see things your way, or;Pack it in and play the stock market.BTW, drop the "two months" self-imposed deadline: You will wind up doing a deal for the sake of doing a deal, trying to convince yourself it is "good'" not because it actually is "good."

I thank GOD every day I am healthy but definitely want to stay that way!
