When the automobile became the main transportation in stead of the horse what happened to all the black smiths and stable owners?

It might be used as additional storage and a place to put your automobile when you are expecting bad weather.  

If I was in your position where I was out from under a car loan and received a lump sum of cash, I would buy a moderately priced automobile and pour the rest of the cash into investing, building my financial future.  

There area is a good area with good jobs, one of the largest automobile plants in the US is 7 miles away, but the schools are not rated very well.  

So, don't worry about what the seller is doing with themselves.Not necessarily true - there are forms of seller financing (such as a land contract or contract for deed) where title to the property is not passed to the purchaser until all payments have been made; these work similarly to how an automobile is typically financed, where you get the title after the lender has been paid off.

They do not sell separate insurance but advised that liability for the parking space could attach to the residential policy and or my current existing automobile policy.

The world is going to the efficiencies of SAS (systems as a service) with automobiles (think Uber-types--you don't NEED to own a car in the USA...you need access to one), software (think MS OFFICE), the list is growing and your future HOME of any price is the most expensive item on the list.Therefore, it is a priority for the wealthy...to OWN THEM and rent back to you.  

Mobile homes are personal property, and have titles just like automobiles.
